Exhibition Review | Prisys Biotech Showcased at the SfN 2023 Annual Meeting From November 11 to 15, 2023, the SfN 2023 Annual Meeting was held in Washington, USA. This is the world’s largest neuroscience event, and a global platform to showcase the latest advances, breakthroughs and innovations in neuroscience.
Prisys Biotech, the global leader in nonhuman primate (NHP) disease models, presented its cutting-edge products and services at this meeting, attracting widespread attention and acclaim from peers and experts worldwide. Prisys Biotech highlighted the following aspects:

1. Quantitative analysis system of NHP behavior: Prisys Biotech-creatures can accurately and objectively assess the cognitive and motor functions of NHPs by using markerless 3D behavioral motion capture, markerless posture evaluation, deep learning and 3D skeleton reconstruction. This provides a new evaluation paradigm for neuroscience research.
2. Novel NHP Model for Neurodegenerative Diseases: Prisys Biotech has developed new NHP models of neurodegenerative diseases such as pain, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, MCAO and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which have high pathological and clinical relevance. These models provide an effective platform for the mechanism study and drug development of neurodegenerative diseases.
3. Advanced Clinical Imaging Capability: Prisys Biotech integrates various imaging technology systems, encompassing a clinical-level aseptic surgical operating room (OR), mixed surgical devices with digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and advanced imaging equipment (CT, MR, Doppler ultrasound). This enables standard and advanced sequence analysis of central nervous system (CNS)-related images.
4. Brain-Specific Drug Delivery and Sampling System Under Precise Magnetic Resonance: Prisys Biotech's real-time magnetic resonance-compatible system facilitates precise drug delivery in the brain, minimally invasive sampling of brain tissue, and accurate placement of brain electrodes guided by magnetic resonance. This breakthrough technology provides robust technical support for neuroscience research.

Prisys Biotech offers a spectrum of services, including pharmacological efficacy research, pharmacokinetics, safety evaluation, biomarker research, and mechanism concept verification based on the nonhuman primate (NHP) disease model. Recognized as a national "high-tech enterprise" and a "specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise in Shanghai," Prisys Biotech remains committed to advancing delivery, evaluation, and model innovation in the CNS field. We look forward to collaborating with partners to further propel the development of neuroscience, contributing wisdom and strength to this dynamic field.
