Product Introduction
The Application of in vivo Imaging in NHP Studies

Prisys Biotech offers an advanced Clinical Imaging Platform (PRISYS Translational Research Center ) designed to enhance drug development, particularly from preclinical to Phase II clinical stages. Our platform provides clinical equivalent imaging results from human imaging devices and analytical methodologies, ensuring smooth translation of preclinical data.

By using devices such as MRI, CT, and DSA, we are able to deliver high-resolution, real-time imaging of non-human primates (NHPs), allowing for the accurate assessment of disease progression, drug distribution, and therapeutic efficacy. Our platform is tailored for a variety of research areas, including CNS, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases. These technologies enable non-invasive monitoring, reducing the need for terminal procedures, and enhancing the overall welfare of the animals involved.

Clinical Imaging Key Features

Prisys In vivo Imaging Platform:

  • Heavy equipment: MR, CT, PET-CT, DSA (x-ray), DEXA
  • Diagnostic devices: doppler ultrasound, colonoscope, laparoscope, bronchoscope

Advanced Analytical and Diagnostic Capabilities:

  • Team of clinical radiologists with 20+ years of experiences from clinics, enabling direct disease justification, lesion quantification, and diagnostic reporting after imaging scans
  • 10+ years of endeavor in fitting human imaging scan & sequencing to NHP, including device refinement, sequencing customization, and countless validation trails.

General Applications:

  • Drug Efficacy and Safety: enables precise assessment of drug efficacy and safety in various disease models, providing unique disease endpoints with comparative readouts for drug effeteness in different disease stages.
  • Disease Progression Monitoring: allows continuous monitoring of disease progression and therapeutic effects, enhancing understanding of chronic disease mechanisms and treatment responses without the necessity of animal euthanasia.

High Predictive Value:

  • Target/Biomarker discovery and validation: supporting the identification and validation of new drug target or biomarkers by means of radio-label-based tracing.
  • High Predictive Value: Ensures high predictive value in translational research, reducing later clinical phase risks and supporting informed decision-making in drug development.
